In 2025, we had the honor of designing the “Study of the Needs of Organizations Working on Women, Girls, and Vulnerable Groups’ Rights in Bulgaria” for the Bulgarian Fund for Women (BFW). For the report, our infographic design was central to translating complex sociological data into clear, compelling, and accessible insights.

This comprehensive report synthesizes the findings of a sociological survey conducted among organizations and activist groups across Bulgaria who have received, or are currently receiving, financial support from BFW. The study’s core objective was to pinpoint the specific challenges faced by organizations dedicated to advancing the rights of women, girls, and vulnerable groups in Bulgaria. It also incorporates a longitudinal analysis, allowing for observation of changes within these organizations over time.

The study is structured in two parts. Part one (quantitative study): Based on a standardized questionnaire, this section involved 108 respondents from a total of 389 identified in the BFW database. Part two (qualitative study): This part included 20 in-depth interviews with representatives from organizations actively combating domestic and gender-based violence, effectively covering nearly all active organizations in this crucial area. Our design work aimed to ensure this critical research was presented clearly and compellingly, amplifying its impact.

The Bulgarian Fund for Women is a vital organization that supports feminist organizations, collectives and activists who challenge the patriarchal status quo and work towards a systemic change for women, girls, and all marginalized communities.
